sorry enrique. local police had other plans for me. looks like the lexus isnt hitting the streets until late april; if that. for now its a 5 spd civic and taking the IS around the block to keep things moving in there.

HIN and all them shows are just the same. they are all contests for flashy paint and crazy audio systems. whoever has most tv's wins. no appreciation for motor work, or old school jdm goodies. hp has no meaning.

Yea, i hear ya with the judges...I mean, i doubt they know the first thing about the different engine families...they didn't spend anymore than 10 seconds looking under the hood anyways. E, if you wanna alleviate some of those rock nicks, I think i've found a really good and amazingly cheap solution. It may sound ghetto, but i bought one of the DupliColor scratch fix touch up paint pens/brushes, and I carefully went over all the small nicks in my hood, and i gotta say, it came out damn good, its really hard to pick out where i put on any of the paint. Unfortunately, it only works really well on the small dot-like nicks, not scratches so much. If you use it, just don't use the brush end, use the roller ball and just lightly dot on the middle of the nick, and you won't see it anymore...I'll post up some real closeups of my hood once i take some pics, probably tomorrow
