its a 2003 WRX with K&N typhoon intake and an HKS hi power exhaust...and its automatic...i'm guessing a 15.6 or so....haha

Yeah, Tom had some traction issues still...and needs to work on "launching" his car...then he should be able to crack into the 12's...otherwise, not too shabby for only 2nd time out drag racing at the track for him...

No, Danny did not race against an IS...I was just using his time as an example of most IS automatics run in the 1/4 with bolt on mods..;)

well it was fun but came up a touch short... it was much better than my first time out though..
which as i recall was like 13.8 with like a 2.6 or 2.7 60' which just sucked..

This time heres how it went.
1st run 13.232, 2.358 60' @113.68
2nd run 13.404, 2.3 60' @113.71
3rd run 13.271, 2.335 60' @115.08

I watched the videos from inside the car and compared them to the first time I went. Already a huge imrovement. I ran the car on both occasions at 14.5 psi, street tires pump gas, tire pressure 20psi for my last run, my first run was at around 27psi tire pressure. I still cant get a good launch, I come into boost very very fast and I am trying to learn how to feather that clutch just enough to get that 2.0 60' I feel that with a 2.0 60' I can run a 12.6. Just got to hit it once. Once I hit theat magic number on a street setup then I will go to high boost and go all out. Thats when the drag radials will come in. I have a goal, and that is to get well into the 12's on street setup. afte that I ll aim for 11's in drag trim...

As a side note I cant wait to see the videos from outside. All three races I left last and still wound up walking downand beating the cars I lined up with. The first run was agaisnt a turbo civic, second against a slp camaro, thrid run was against a mustang gt, with some exhaust and headers he came over to talk to me afterwerds cause he shit himself after I walked him down and past him!! his reaction time was a..022 mine was a.845...and he had a 2.2 60' but only rana 14.181...lol.. it was good seeing you guys there. Im gonna go again next week..one final shot for the season..

Have that said, Before the accord, I had a 1992 Chevy Caprice with 5.7L and police packaged (an Ex-jersey turnpike cop car). That thing was a monster and had spot light and hidden sirens. Peeps move da fuck out when I am on the road (tru story).

If I have more money, I'd trade the TL for 2006 Z06. :D

its easier to race when the tree counts down like 3 ambers then green. the pro's get one amber, then green realyl quick. like ridiculously quick. i leave on the last amber becuase the human brain takes a millisecond to react, so by the time you drop the clutch and get going, that last amber already huit green. and it def improves your R/T!!!!

you need to work on launching the car hard, and getting traction...both the key..

IM gonna play with the suspension a bit this week. I gotta get rid of that damn wheel hop.. It doesnt sound or feel good when it really gets going thats why I backed out on my last shot.. thought I was gonna break somthing. Im gonna raise the car up a bit and softem the springs in the rear to try and help the weight transfer a bit. You gotta remeber the car is stillset up for road course and the suspension is very very stiff. I know if I can get the car to hook im in the 12's no doubt even with a 2.1 60' which isnt that hard if you get some kind of traction..
