My bro lives off campus at Rutgers(New Brunswick)... got a call from him this morning around 9:30... Woke up to a stolen car... =( sometime between 2am and 8am ...
Black '93 Honda Prelude VTEC ...

Called insurance will get $5K for it...unless of course they find the car. besides having the vtec engine, everything else was stock and even the paintjob on it was faded...damn thieves! :mad::mad:

also remember hondas are one of the easiest cars to steal. and theres so many, the blend right in, so cops wont spot them. and so many people have them means the parts are alwaqys in demand. id see why thieves focus on honda/acura

where in RU? They'll steal anything down there. My friend had her like 86 Crown Victoria stolen while she was down there. GLuck finding it ... most likely up in newark or paterson on blocks.

He lives on Maple Street off of college ave. Insurance co. said 80% of the time they find the car in 2 weeks... but of course i'm sure it will look like shit in 2 weeks. pisses me off knowing some person is going through the car and treating it like shit.... My days of driving his car and hitting VTEC all the time is over =\

Well, just called the police back... they found the car. Ended up in Plainfield, NJ and the cop said there is no engine. Grrrr :mad: and not sure about any other details. Right now its at some place called Matthews Towing Inc. Hope to make it down there 2morrow sometime to check it out.

^^ be prepared to pay over $200 in towing fees (which is such bs). I wonder sometimes if you are better off not reporting it to the cops. Because on top of not having a car.. you have to pay them to get your car out of their lot. :(
