So, yesterday my water heater at the condo broke, $700 less to the turbo funds v2.0.. While waiting for the guys to show up and install the water heater, I decided to mount my gauges..

I'll probably finish hooking them up this weekend, just afraid to tap the manifold.. haha and need to find a T fitting for the oil pressure gauge.

eric, looks nice n clean. actually looks nicer than a gauge pod. not as clumsy looking. when you took the dash tray out, what did you put on thee bottom since you didnt have that felt piece?

carbon fiber is a good idea. easier to clean than the felt. the felt just attracts dust and shit. what if you put dash tray back and cut holes larger enough to "sink" the gauges into?

^^ I like the 'exposed' look. It matches well with the silver trim on the ac knobs and the hks evc monitor. Silver/black theme.

Eric, that is way too much for a HWH! What gallon was it?

P.S. Your gauges look nice. http://www.teamelusive.com/forums/images/icons/icon14.gif

Jeeze. My Dad probably could have hooked you up. He owns an HVAC company, but he can get and install HWHs and stuff for friends. $700 just sounds like too much, even with install and what not.

^^ too late. :(

..but, I will probably give him 2-3 people soon. The condo's next to me are using the same hwh and will probably go anytime soon as well. Hehehe.

It's not his primary line of work, so your neighbors are in trouble if their HWHs break. And apparently, it's about $700 worth of trouble. Haha. He would have done it for you cause I would have asked him to since you are a friend of mine. :)

i thought you were gonna go gauge-less? they definitely look good though, cleaner lookin then with the gauge pods.

just a quick question.. has anyone ever used the gauges inside the speedo for like boost, oil psi, etc..?
