Vacation...

Ever thought to do something so out of our norm as to like leave our cars behind and go for a cruise? Wouldn't that be interesting?

I'm thinking to take 1.5wks in mid March and then 2 wks in Aug...but no clue what to do... :confused:

everything is free on a cruies except for liqour......there for, trips are usually around 700-1200 depending on room....and then for like 10 days buying liqour? u gonna be around the 600 dollar range cause you don't pay with cash they give you a credit card or i think some boats you just use ur key to the room and you just swipe your life away.....but besides that all the food in the world, anytime of day and the most relaxing thing that you can do.

p.s. you can beat the system by having an empty 2 liter bottle and just fillin that up wit liqour.....my dad tought me that.

Hi Guys,

Been on two cruises so far. You can do 1 of two things. When you pack your suitcase initially you ca put the liquor in your luggage and /or Use the coke bottle trick works like a charm and on the wallet too.

By far the best one was Carnival. Definately.

You are the first person that I've met that prefers Carnival over Royal Carribean. I can't comment because I've only been on Carnival, which I liked very much, but everyone that I've talked to argues that Royal Carribean is substantially better.

yea...cruises are the shit....been on Princess, Carnival, and Louis(Greece) cruise lines...over 6+ cruises, the last 2-3 were with my sister and our friends. they are very affordable and a WHOLE lot of fun. I would recommend it as a great way to "get away".

I am going on another one end of April.. I can't wait. I agree with what everyone says, def do the 'coke bottle' idea. This will be my second time cruising with Royal. We are taking a 'relocation' cruise.. where we fly out to Puerto Rico, get on the cruise ship there and the cruise ship docks in Philly. A 'relocation' cruise is cheaper.. even if you add the flight.

Carnival was truly a "fun" ship compared to Royal Carib. I'd say if you were 50 years old, then go Royal Carib.

I didn't really like Norweigan. I didn't like any sort of "freestyle dining" with them.

By far Royal Carribean's service is impecable compared to carnival. The food was a lot better as well as the young kids under 16 notallowed out of the rooms at 11:00 which meant all teh chicks were legal hahaha

I just came from a cruise last month (January 9th ~ January 13th) Bahamas/Key West with Royal Caribbean. The cruise wasn't what I expected, if you want to just eat and get fat.. it's the place for you. Food are ok, there's plenty of food to eat.

The whole experience was iiiite, the only positive part we got out was

A) Time off from work
B) Relaxing
C) Got to see Bahamas for the first time (wasn't impressed)
D) Won alot of money at the Casino (trip paid for and some more!)


If you wanna do a cruise, I wouldn't recommend Royal Caribbean Cruise line. The customer service sux and most of them can't speak shit english.

go with carnival, i heard it's really good and fun. Younger crowd too!
