well were rollin' at around 64mph which puts me in third gear (at the very very bottom of it)

that was 3rd into 4th redline... i let off at 124mph

my gearing
1st - 0-35
2nd - 35- 62
3rd 62 -91
4th 91- 124
5th 124 - 196 (203 theoretical on paper with 7200 redline coming very very soon so watch yo azzes!!!)

(stock is rear gearing coupled with the R154 tall gearing and taller tires)

it happens very very quickly..I hit redline in 4th so quick .. well just look at the vid.. that was 62 or so to 124...when i tap my brake lights

actually yeah, rumor was Charles was stroked....never confirmed or denied....the supraforums guys thought he was, especially to make the power he did on the PT-76

and actually......KEVLEX is currently in the process of getting stroked, along with his GT47-80 turbo...down in Miami...;)

I think its a waste of money though, of course the saying "there is no replacement for displacement" but I think its better to stick to the 3.0, go with a GTE bottom or build the internals, save a ton of money that way....

but if thats what your really considering doing, then cool....

as I said, Kevlex in miami is in the process of doing it, when I was just down there, I saw it being built.... HKS 3.4 stroker, 280 cams, JE pistons, Crower Rods.....crower springs/retainers/ported&polished head...

The HKS 3.4 stroker kit comes complete. You get the HKS forged crank, HKS/Carillo rods with SP Carr rod bolts, HKS pistons and HKS rings. All you need is a bare block with the appropriate machine work. Displacement increases from the stock 2997 cc to 3352 cc.

secrets never last around here. everyone has a general idea of what everyones doing. we all progress together. so eevryone quit your bitching and moaning already.

there are a ton of innovative things that can still be done on the is300. its a great car to "play" with. we all have the same common goals.

tom, im excited for your "project" and cant wait to see it.

marc, im excited to see you back in action as well.

and everyone else, its nice to see everyone moving along their paths. everyoen has their own style and everyone has they own pace. shit it took me over 2 years of researchign and investigation to decide what i wanted, and im sure ill be changing things withina coupel years to satisfy my growing needs and concerns.
