I wanted to surprise you guys on Sunday but between not knowing if weather is gonna be good and people from MD not knowing i wanted to keep it hush hush until sunday i give up, lol. The car is back and Eric did a quick photoshoot of my car this past Saturday. I asked Eric to take pictures so i can send to my cousin in Ohio they turned out damn nice even with the car dirty as shit lol.

I forgot some of you are either banned or dont like going on .net anymore so heres a quick writeup of my setup.

SRT Custom Stage 4

PT-72 GTQ Turbo
750cc injectors
Blitz boost controller
TITAN 264 cam gears
3" downpipe to 2 x 2.5inch split
Haltech E6X
HKS DLI
Crower valve springs ,Titanium retainers
GTE style intake manifold, 75mm TB
Blitz Gauges (boost, EGT, Fuel Pressure)
Stock GTE bottom end
V160 tranny
Custom Tubular manifold
Racelogic traction control
TRD LSD
GS400 Rear Diff
and some mild port and polishing done by Moe


Im waiting for Moe to email me the dyno results, but at 9.5psi i hit 420rwhp and at 19.5 i hit 615rwhp. I have some pics taken but the car was dirty as all hell. I'll post more pics after the car gets detailed.

before the altezza left japan it put down 472rwps at roughly 16psi ( i say rougly cause i dont know psi, only "bar")
i have no governer, and have topped out over 280km/h with room to spare (gotta love the 6spd manual)

from a roll i think it would be closer than you think

On the way back from Island drag a week or so back, ISman was runnig his 19psi 600 rwhp setup, I was runing 15 psi about 440rwhp we ran from about 50 to about 150 and he maybe had about a car lentgh on me JS300 was behind us. Charles again was shocked I was still with him. Its not just about rwhp... torque, spool up and your gearing play a big roll.

thanks maltz. Also i believe 14.7psi (or close to that) = 1 bar. Also when you get back and after i get comfortable with the car sure we can do some friendly runs for shits and giggles. I have no problem with doing runs from a roll or a dig (god i love racelogic).

i have only run TT Supras and a few GTR Skylines in the Altezza before it was shipped off. i would love to see how it stacks against another SXE-10.

is the IS in question running a 6spd tranny? not sure what the gearing on the Getrag tranny is vs the 6spd altezza tranny.

the altezza tranny is weak. any idea how i could upgrade it? there arent any 6spd manuals in the US that bolt up to the 3SGE is there?
I need to upgrade my clutch as i still slipped 4th-6th.

is the altezza any lighter or heavier than an IS?

I am using the R154 5sp from the MKIII supra, with the IS rear. The other car has the getrag 6sp manual form the MKIV supra with the gs rear. My gearing is very very long 4th gear takes me to 95 to 148 or so.. 5ht is good till 203.. ive only been to 185

Um if your asking if i have a v160 6speed then yes i do. Along with a gs400 rear diff my gearing ratio is 3.227.

At the moment i have a bad 2nd gear synchro (it grinds everytime i shift into 2nd). Shoulda be getting that replaced along with some other goodies end of January.

Not to burst your bubbles Tom, yes, I was/am impressed with the runs on the hwy. but hp is hp. I didn't even brake boost nor downshifted to 3rd... It was all from 4th gear roll instead of 3rd gear roll pulls. You can tell the hp of a car easily by the trap speed of a car on the track....

Still very very faaast car, thus, I'm impressed. That turbo spools instantly!!

Peter, hopefully this Sunday the weather is good, and we can all enjoy some boosted IS300s grouped together.

Its all good. I didnt brake boost either, nor do i have race logic. I was just shocked that I was able to keep up as well as I did. You know I think your car is sick. Im just still impressed with how well my car does on the emanage with the stock bottom end and intake plenum.
