What's up with this?

One of my HID bulbs upon ignition turns from the normal bluish-white color to a purplish color (similiar to the 12k+ HID kits) within a matter of 20 or so seconds. Do I need a need balast or a new bulb. I know for a fact mositure got in the headlight. I just don't know where the ballasts are. I will try switching the builbs to see if the issue is indeed the ballasts. I'm hoping it isn't because it's so much $$$ to spend on such a small part.:(

i thought the ballasts are rite behind the headlight, i think it's mounted on the back of the headlight....not sure tho

Jr, are u sure it's the Ballast??? Replace the headlight bulbs first and go from there.

We figured, well thanks to Moe, figured out its just a bulb. But Jr on the drive from the stop I noticed ur driverside foglight was out.

Goog thing it was just a bulb.....JR, check for short first then replace both headlight bulbs and keep the old one that is good for emergency. Same goes for the fogs.
