HPDE
If you are interested in learning the basics of High Performance Driving, or simply want to drive your car on a racetrack in a controlled and professionally staffed environment, then HPDE is for you. HPDE gives drivers a chance to test their skills and learn from NASA’s cadre of experienced instructors in a venue designed for safe spirited driving far away from the risks present on the street. NASA’s HPDE program has become the standard for the “open track” industry and features multiple skill levels to ensure that drivers are able to enjoy a safe and fun day at the track.

^i certainly wouldnt mind a weekend or two with the training/beginner classes. regardless of the fact ive been driving for over 10 years, id still like a course with suggestions and keys to safe track driving.

- 2nd set of tires/wheels
- check: rotors/pads
- food/drinks/cooler

for anyone who has done this, pls add from your experience on what we can expect and what things to bring. :)

eric, i may flat bed my car there depending where we go. that way i can also keep all tools and tires, etc in the truck for security. plus we can sleep in that bish if we had to.

^^ no way we can do July. You'll need an extra set of tires to be able to drive to Ohio safely. I think a full day at the track will eat up the tires pretty good.
