Island dragway NOV19th Sunday 10AM!!!! [Archive]

I will be heading to Island Dragway this Sunday at 10am to give this 10sec thing one last shot for the season. get there when the gates open!!!!at 10am

Even though I have not replaced the clutch, I am hoping that one pass will get m there. Plus if you notice on my time slips , the second pass was only 10 minutes later and the car and clutch did not have that much time to cool down.

This is it one last shot to get-ur-done!

directions below for any that would like to come out and run with me it would be nice to see some of you northeast guys befroe you all go into hibernation! ;)

D, if u want, u can come with me in my car, I will need a co-pilot, and might even ask if you could drive too, depending how I feel by sunday morning....right now my painkillers are getting me all drowsy...lol

From NYC: Rt 80 west to exit 19. Bottom of ramp make left. Go approximately 6 miles into Hackettstown, make a right onto Rt. 46 West (Main St.) and follow for approx. 7 miles. Entrance to the track will be on the right hand side, just past Cannonball's Go-Go.

Cannonball's is under new ownership since like 5 days ago. It is suppose to be much better. Only downfall is the pool table is no longer present.

was a good day, overall...a tad bit brisky....nice to see everyone...and awesome run for Tom, 11.09 @ 130 MPH...inching closer to 10's, def by march/april 2007!

Jerry, next year.. if you ever plan on going back to the track. get some sticky street tires.. do not run the all seasons.

I ran with street tires because I wanted to see how my car runs on 1/4 without any special mods.... and I ran 13.6 and best 13.4

thats why I was happy with my 13.0 @ 116 MPH with a 2.6 60ft on my 19" HRE's and 245 BFG KDW2's and 15 psi of boost (440 rwhp)....hahaha
