On the way to AC friday afternoon, I saw a C6 vette on the slowest lane. For those of you who knows AC expressway, it has 3 lanes and sometimes it opens up to 4. So I'm at the 3 lane open highway on AC expressway and saw a nice black C6 vette. The rear window looked different so I immediately knows it's a zo6 and as I pulled up next to him, I saw the "zo6" badge next to the front door. I gave him a thumbs up and the guy waved back. He looked young so I assume he looked like he's in his mid thirties.

He pointed at my supercharged V6 badge on the side and signal me to run with him. I laughed and nodded and after 3 honks, he dusted me pretty bad. It was no competition at all. He chills back down and I cruised behind him in a steady pace. After say about 5~6 miles, a mustang flies by us and hit his brakes ahead. The mustang slowed down and I noticed it has the same pinstripes as the one I saw on R70. It's blue with white pinstripes. I lined up with the zo6 and I saw "Shelby" sign on the left rear of his car. So i'm like "oh shit! new shelby cobra and C6 zo6!" My buddy said I should line up on the fast lane and give it a try hahahahhaha. Before I could do anything, I heard the zo6 honked and they took off. Before the honk, I was doing about 72mph on 65. We didn't have a chance to see who won as both of them took off so fast and so up ahead my TL couldn't catch up. From where we were, it looked like the zo6 had a great jump in the beginning and I believe the zo6was well ahead of the cobra. I didn't see them again since so I assume they were going at it for awhile.


My buddy recorded the beginning on his phone camera, so I'll wait for his upload.

Never knew CF looked so damn good on a red car...very good taste there
