Last night, I was craving WaWa ICEE... so at around 9:30pm I decided to get into my car and drive to WaWa just for that COKE flavored ICEE :D. 10 minutes and $1.09 later, I was in heaven
So on the way back to my house on Route 70 going East bound I hear BOV going off. "Pssshh, pfffff." Sounded very nice, but not nearly as nice as Mike/Tom/Peter/Willie/Eric's BOV in their IS300. I noticed a VW VR6 passing by me as he release that BOV. I said to myself "nice!". So a few lights later, I caught up right next to him in a red light. At close to 10pm in South Jersey, Route 70 is pretty dead, so it was just me and him at the light. I look at the driver in the VW VR6 and said "nice turbo, sounded very nice, what are your numbers?" The driver in that VR6 looked no older than 22 (I would say he's 19) and his friends were about the same age. He instantly replied "450 wheel hp man. It's very fast."
I wanted to laugh my ass off, but I gave him the bennefit of the doubt. Remember Visionboy.com had a VW VR6 that was hell fast but it was only 336whp. So I didn't really believe the dude, but what the hell.... who cares. The passenger looked over and said "let's race" as the driver revs. Coming off the suspension and pitch black Route 70 and with mad cherry hill cops. I was into risking another ticket for a VW VR6. So I told him "nah, cherry hill cops are everywhere." They nodded and revs anyway...........
The light goes green and the VR6 takes off, I could hear the Turbo spooling but it wasn't really picking up. I was in the fast lane at the time and noticed a HID flashed a few times at me in my rear view mirror. I quickly moved away as that vehicle was coming fast. As the car near me, I could hear a familiar whine getting louder and louder. It got quite loud as he approaches me and then flies by me. I realized it was an Acura TL just like mine but in Silver Exterior. I was like "oh snap!!!! hahahaha.'' The TL catches up with the VR6 and flies by him.... from the looks of it, he must have been doing least 110mph. The TL disappeared along with the VR6 minutes later.
I thought I was the ONLY S/C TL in my area but apparently not.... now I have to find out which mofo also installed the S/C in his TL. Most of the S/C TL in Jersey are either in Atlantic City or Bergen County.....
