What the hell, I look at my wheel today and I notice something strange. One of my lugs was missing, and I look closer. The entire BOLT was MISSING, wtf. First of all, how does that happen? Second, how can I replace it?
Do you think I can pass safety inspection for auto-x with 4 lugs?

WTF? Are you serious? Can't say this happened to me before, so, I do not know how to fix this.
I'm sure they wont even notice.

Amazing.
With all these experts here, nobody has ever actually worked on a car.
You bang out the old stud and insert a new one.
From now on, use a torque wrench when installing your lug nuts. Do not EVER let any fucking grease monkey with an airgun tighten your lugnuts. EVER. Not even if he's the NTB employee of the week.

Soprano just called me with some alternate advice...
He said you should shipm the car down to Miami to have this fixed. It's really the best way.
We look forward to some STDUPDT's (Stud Updates) while you wait.

Yeah, I got 2 (1 extra) new 12x1.5 studs from Pep Boys. Now how do I put it on?

If there is any of the old stud in there, bang it out and remove it from the back side of the hub.
What you actually have to remove to get to the backside varies a lot by car. Just keep removing stuff until you've got access.
Hit the stud out with a big hammer.
Insert the new stud from the rear.
Use an spacer or a stack of washers and then tighten a lug nut down against the stack of washers to pull the splines on the base of the stud into the hole and tighten until it bottoms the base of the stud against the hub.
Then mount yer wheel.

I am glad you can grace us with presence, CuntRash. Please stick around and share your knowledge of cars here. We need it.
Thank you and come again.
