Congrats on the feature Rich!

I thought that was very well written, and captures the true essence of a real enthusiest, such as you are.

I have always said, this is a hobby, and why would I pay someone to do my hobby.
thats a very good point, and thank god i haven't spent any money to get things installed in my car yet.. i hope to do my turbo install when i get it over the summer without pussying out and sending it to a shop. same thing with my headlights, i need a little encouragement to do these things i have never done before (thank you rich for that). this is one of my fave. IS's, knowing all the hardwork thats gone through it, and it will always be an inspiration to work on mine and not take the easy way out (ie. sending it to a shop)

Thank you for the kind words, everyone. Yes you can tune at car at home, I know of three IS300 guys 2 SC300 and one NA-T supra guy that home tunes their car.

As most of you know, I enjoy this hobby for what it is.

Thank you for the kinds words, You really dont know how much you learn about your car when you do something yourself. It is truly an experience for an enuthusiast. (That is why I always suggest it) I could have easily paid anyone to modify my car, but then I would be a customer not an enthusiast.

yup, that is true. i'm in my early stages with my diy.. but as i become more used to dealing with certain things, the more confident i am in starting a project without having to deal with a shop.. once again, your car is beautiful straight up, and g'luck with future mods/projects/diy's
